Zen

Ahhhh....I'm not really gonna offer up any excuses for my lack of post yesterday. I just simply apologize. After doing the Magic Multitasker again the other day, I must have pulled something in my back, and its been killing me ever since. I went to bed after a heating pad and some ibuprofen fairly early to try to forget the pain.

Anyway, enough of my whining...

Lunch was a Spinach salad with avocado, black beans, grape tomatoes and some shredded Mexican cheese. I had about 1tbs of homemade honey mustard dressing on it.

I started to get hungry around 3:30, so I had a WW English Muffin with some Raspberry All Fruit & Smart Balance and a Pluot.
Dinner was leftovers. I had some of the cabbage and veggies (no meat) from Sunday and a few bites of the Pasta with meat sauce from the other night. I wanted to use up all the leftovers that are in our fridge.
After dinner, Rob balled the melon that we had. Here's a pic of the inside of a melon half after he was done balling it. Kinda cool huh?

And the delicious melon itself...

I was working from home today. School starts next week and I wanted to take advantage of the last of my practically open schedule. I decided to not go to the gym and just let me back rest. I woke up and had breakfast (oatmeal) and....

Iced Green Tea!
I took the advice from some commenters and got the Tazo Zen. I was so excited to be able to make it on my own at home! I had about 2 glasses this morning. I was definitely feeling the jitters later in the day. Thanks for the advice!!! Now all I have to do is get a cold cup to bring along with me to work and I'm set!

Lunch was yet more leftovers in the fridge. The baked eggplant from Monday topped with some marinara sauce and Parm cheese. It was yummy as ever and reminded me even more of Eggplant Parm. I also had a few pieces of melon before lunch.
Three more Whole Grain Fig Newtons for snack. I also ate a huge peach (not pictured)

Dinner was Turkey Kielbasa on a ww English muffin with ketchup and mustard with sauteed green and red peppers. I had some K&M on the side for dipping, but didn't really touch it. It didn't go on the peppers...haha.

Also some hot decaff tea with dinner. I was feeling a bit stressed this afternoon (school stuff), and thought that the tea might help me relax a little. I've never had this flavor before. It was delicious. I loved the smell and the taste wasn't too sweet, yet I could still tell it was flavored. Needless to say, it did the trick. I'm feeling better now.
Even though her eyes are kinda closed, I thought Kitty looked so cute last night! She had her little paws crossed like such a lady!

Off to fold stupid laundry....

Your kitty is so adorable!

I love melon balling. I don't know what it is about it. I'm crazy!

Mmmm. I love melon. I think I'll go buy one tonight! Also, how do you brew your tea? I read the comment about adding less water if it's only for a glass and then got confused. Hah.

SweetPotato-

Rob says the same thing about Melon Balling! Almost like an obsession..lol

Annie-

When I do make my own Iced Tea I brew the tea just like a normal cup. Depending on how strong you want it, leave the tea bag in the water longer or shorter, etc. I like my tea strong, so I leave the bag in there for awhile. Then I just pour over a glass of ice. I haven't tried the less water technique quite yet. I'll let ya know if I do!

A :)
